It is the end of June and nothing has changed. We (impatient parents waiting for referrals) were hoping/expecting to see a flood of referrals come in. But that is not what has happened. It looks like things are starting to move again, but no where near the pace we were all hoping for. The only thing we can do is have hope for July, I guess.
At this point I am okay with the waiting. It has been a month since we sent our home study to Korea and that is a short wait compared to other families I see on the message boards. I think with summer here we are keeping busy and have lots of other things to focus on....trips, the pools, 5 kids in my house...and house work. From this perspective, I would rather wait more now and wait less for the baby to come home after we accept a referral (like I have a choice ;) ). I just think that once I have the picture and we name him, I am going to form a bond with him that will cross hundreds of miles. And that is when waiting will take on an entirely different form.
So, bye bye June and bring it on July!
