Officially Waiting for a Referral

I got an email from Barker letting me know that our file was received in Korea on 5/28/07. So we are officially "waiting for a referral". We are all very excited. It will probably be a month or 2 before we hear anything.

We are rethinking names, trying to get a list together and then we will decide once we see the picture. We did pretty much the same thing with Brooke (we had a list of 3 and then picked after she was born) and we like the way that worked out. Hopefully it will work as well this time.

Barker is having a picnic on Sunday and we are going to head up there. It will be nice to maybe meet some families in our area that have adopted. It will be good for the kids too...to see and play with other multi-cultural and adoptive families. We don't really have that kind of network yet. I would love to have some other moms who have been where I am to connect with.

We will let you know when we hear anything.
