Back to reality..

We returned , just in case any of you were placing bets about whether we would come back or not. Unfortunately Bermuda has a very strict policy about whom they allow to take up residence, and we did not meet that criteria, but we did look into it (just kidding). We had a great time on the Cruise and getting to know each other again. Remembering what our relationship was like before we had kids. It is always wonderful when we take time for the 2 of us. Bermuda was beautiful, you should go if you ever get the chance.

Now on to what you really want to read about.......

No referral yet. I just got off the phone with our agency (isn't it funny how my postings always seem to follow a call to our agency ;-) )and they did get a few referrals towards the end of last month. It seems that we are getting closer and closer. The unfortunate thing is that they just don't know anything until the referral/s comes in the mail. They have no idea if they will get any this month or the next. There is just no guessing at this point. It could be any day in 2007 or 2008..that is my best guess.

So we just keep plugging along. Trying desperately not to think about the reality that our baby has (hopefully) been born and what he/she is doing. Who is taking care of him/her? What are we missing...rolling over, the first smile, the warmth of his/her soft head against my cheek. OK I have to stop now. See I just could go on like this all day, if I let myself. It would just be torturous. So I am off to the grocery store. Maybe that will help.
