We are done.

Well it is over. It is all in the hands of the various agencies and God now. Our SW just left a couple of hours ago and she said everything looks great. It has been a long week. Our couple interview was on Tuesday and our individual interviews were on Thursday. Then we had our home visit this morning. One big rush and whoosh it is done.
Now we wait. That is our roll until til we meet our son in baggage claim of Dulles Airport, hopefully sometime in the fall. So here is the order of what we will be waiting on:

1. Home study approved by agency and sent to USCIS2. Home study approved by USCIS and receive I-171H form from USCIS3. File sent to Korea and received4. Referral (probably not until June or July so 2007 babies can turn 5 months old.)From there I know there are more things to wait on, but I am not real clear about what they are right now. About 4 things is all I can handle. We will deal with the rest as we get over some of the first hurdles. We are still thinking the he will be coming home in the fall sometime. But as things happen we will get a clearer picture.

Right now I am just trying to focus on be relieved. No one is waiting on me for anything. We have finished our responsibility in the process for now. Yes there is a loss of control, but there is also a freedom in knowing we do not carry the burden of getting things done so our son can come home right now. There is a relief that comes from handing it over to the only one that can handle a responsibility this large. We have done all we can, and now it is His turn.
