Good meeting

Well, we finally met the director of the Korean program. We drove up to the Falls Church office yesterday. It took us about an hour and a half to get there. But it was worth it.
About a week ago I sent Barker an email. We just felt like they were not serving us apporiatly. So I outlined our concerns about the lack of service. And Sue called me a day or so later. She suggested that we meet, if at all possible. So that is why we drove up yesterday. We met Sue for the first time. She seems really nice. And now that we have made our concerns known I think she is going to be stay on top of things. We feel like the air has been cleared and we are all on the same page now.

There isn't much new info. We are just waiting for the I-171H to come in the mail. Then I fax it to Barker. She said then our file will go to Korea within 48 hours. Then we wait. She did say there are about 20 couples ahead of us waiting for referrals. But really you can't translate that into a time frame because there are so many variables...some may be waiting for a girl..some may not be able to accept a baby with minor medical issues..and then they actually look at our pictures and try to match us with a baby that fits our family. So really they don't just put us in a line and hand out babies..there is a lot more to the process.

Please just keep praying for our baby and his/her birth mother and foster mother.
Thanks for all of your support.
