Wishing for a year filled with HOPE!

I never realized how much I used the word hope. "Hope you enjoy the pictures", "I hope you all are doing well", "Hope you have a great time on you vacation". I use hope a lot and hopefully I will be using it even more this year and all that follow.

I am ready for my baby to come home!

Now that the holidays (along with my distractions) are gone, I want my baby home. By no means is the house ready for her to come home, although we did paint her room and start to bring out some baby stuff. But what I mean is I, her Mommy, am ready for her to be with me. My arms long to hold her, my eyes need to see her, my ears want to hear her giggle and her cries. And most of all, my heart is ready to fall in love with her.

Unfortunately all of the agencies are not ready to send her. We still are waiting on her legals. Things really are at a standstill until we get those from SWS. I am sitting by my phone again waiting for yet another phone call to tell me that Barker has Hope's legals and things can start moving again. Then my life can move forward, as long as our future includes HOPE.

Until then, we will try to keep busy getting things ready for her. Putting the crib together, cleaning the garage, and various other nesting activies. My friends and family are giving us a shower to help us prepare for our transformation back to babyhood. I am not sure who is more excited about the shower, me or Brooke. She loves seeing all the baby stuff we are bringing out and figuring out what we are going to use it all for. I just hope I can remember how to use it all. ;-)
