More waiting that's what's next.
We are almost done with our paperwork. I am sending a package out tomorrow and then another one on Monday. Then on Tuesday, we are going to USCIS to have our finger prints updated. After that we are back to our regularly scheduled programing already in progress The Waiting Game.
We will be waiting for a list of things. I have made a section on the blog (top right corner) especially for that list. But here it is in more detail..1st SWS has to send Barker Hope's "legals"(may take up to 8 weeks), then Barker sends the "legals" to USCIS. USCIS will the approve all of our paperwork (could be quick could be not), they send the approval on to NVC (national visa center) I am not sure what they do with them but it is taking about 2-4 weeks for NVC to send everything back to Korea. Ok so then Korea dose their thing (2-4 weeks typically). Finally, we will get a call saying "Come get your daughter!!!" And then we will scramble to get flights and hotel and finish packing and get on a plane ASAP. So there you go, sounds simple right? ;-)
Fun info:
I sent a package to Hope and her foster family today. I have always heard that it was expensive to send things internationally, but I had no idea just how expensive until today.
Any way here is what we sent:
-the Bunny the kids made, with a recording in the hand so she can hear their voices
-some small toys
-a couple of outfits
-a CD of lullabies and we will have the same one when she come home
-lotion, the same scent I will wear when I bring her home
-a blanket
-a soft picture book with pics of us
for the Foster Family we sent:
-a letter
-some chocolate
-coffee
-a pic book of VA
-vitamins (they take that as a sign that we want them to have good health)
-jelly belly's
-disposable cameras to take pics of Hope with.
I think that covers it. I'll post more when I have more info.
PS: Do you like the music I added to the blog? I love it!

Hope is so luckly to have you working so hard to have her join your wonderful family!!
So because I am too laszy to work this out in my head taking into account the longest time for everything when will this see you catching a plane?
Most likly Feb., Jan is still a slight possiblity, if everything runs fast. But if things go really slow or we run into problems who knows how long it could take.
hi, we're in the same boat....still waiting on legals. got our referral on 11/21 and still nothing yet. using holt and they said there is a problem being worked out with the paperwork in korea. ahhhhh. we were hoping to have our daughter home by march, but now i'm not so sure. hope that the rest of her papers are being processed in korea, but not sure if everything waits on the legals. praying for both of our daughters to get home, good luck!
