On the Road/air again..

We are heading off for a spontaneous vacation in the morning. Raymond has been in San Antonio, TX for work this week, and he needs to stay another week. So the kids and I are packing up to fly out to spend the next week there with him. It has worked out really nice, he ended up with a voucher from Delta because he got bumped on the way to S.A., so the kids and I can use that. And since he is there to work, we can all stay in the Corporate apartment his company has there (so no hotel cost). He is going to be working during the week, so I will end up with the kids by myself some, but the icing on the cake is that my sister and one of her boys are going to join us in S.A. for a few days. And I have a neighbor that just moved to S.A. about 7 months ago that I am going to get together with too. So I think if I can just get through a couple of flights alone with 3 kids, I will be good.

Today has been a whirlwind of packing and planning and thinking and freaking out. But it is 8pm our time and I think I am almost done and ready to go. Now I just have to set my alarm for 4:30AM. I know! Hope will not be a happy baby at 4:30a, but maybe that means she will sleep for most of the flights. Hey!, a mom can have dreams too you know.

Well keep us in your prayers...I know I will need it. ;-)
