Well the movers came. They packed,everything...sometimes that is good and sometimes not. They loaded it all on a truck and it is somewhere here in MI...or at least that is what they tell me.
While the movers packed, I packed too. I packed what we thought we would need for the unknown time period that we will be living with my sister. That is difficult, especially since there is limited space in any house, but especially one that is holding 4 adults, 5 kids, and 2 dogs. And there was getting it all there in our vehicles. Our cars have never been so full. But here we are and it feels like we are settling in.
Will started school this week and loves it. Brooke is back on a decent schedule with homeschooling, and Hope has finally accepted that Aunt Erin's house is "home" for now. Raymond seems to be enjoying is job and especially his 11minute commute. I, however, am still trying to find my rhythm. That has always been a challenge for me and I believe that, with the kids Christmas break coming up, I will not be able to find it until they return to school.
But we are all here (minus the 3 cats..my mom is taking them for us until we get our own house). And that feels right. Being separated would not feel like a real family to me. Now we just need to get the house sold in VA. That is up to God. We have done our best to make it attractive and hassle free for the next owner, but only He knows who that house is meant for. And when is the perfect time for them to buy it. Please pray that we can hand over all of our worries and concerns about when and for how much it will sell to Him. That we can find peace in knowing that His plans are the best and His timing is perfect. The waiting is difficult, for all of us. But it must be done.
I will not be posting much on this blog for now. My sister, Erin, and I have started a new blog about our little experiment on merging our families into the same house. Come check that one out (www.therealsisterwivesofsouthwestmichigan.blogspot.com) , there is bound to be some interesting, funny, craziness that happens.
