Staring straight into the mouth of the abyss.

So far our summer has been busy, very busy. Some may say too busy. That is the way I like it. I would rather be too busy than have 3 bored to arguing, whining, complaining, kids at my heals. Usually I try to spread our plans for camps, classes, vacations, and yes even some down time, through out the whole summer. That way we don't end up with a jammed up schedule one month and nothing another month.

This summer has not worked out the way I would have liked. We thought we would be ready to close on the new house around now...but this is not the case. We have had some delays (yes this is where you can add your gasps of surprise). So, thinking that we would be busy moving and settling into a new house in August, I didn't schedule anything for most of August (insert my gasps of fear here). Now we have a closing date of 8/26. And now I am left staring at 3 EMPTY weeks on our 3ft x 2ft family calender.

I think some of Brooke's drama is rubbing off on me. ;)
